Storing your camper during the warmer weather!

Summer has officially started, so here are a few simple tips to maintain an RV in the summertime.

Clean the refrigerator: Empty the refrigerator! Always keep the doors propped open to encourage air circulation inside and prevent mold growth.

Tire covers: Covers can extend the life of your tires while they’re in storage and keep them safe for the road ahead.

Window coverings: Sun can beat through windows easily, so using solar window covers can help block sunlight and reduce heat buildup inside.

Venting the heat: Partially open roof vents, and interior cabinet doors to encourage air circulation and to prevent heat buildup in areas.

Regular inspections: There are numerous critters that roam the grounds of our RV storage lots, especially if you are parked on the outside rows. Regularly inspect your RV for signs of pest activity and take appropriate sealing measures to address any issues.

Wheel Chocks: Security will ticket ANY vehicle parked in an assigned space that is not secured using at least two Manufactured Wheel Chocks. This also applies to a personal car left in your parking spot when you are out using your rig. First offense is a $40 fine!
